Mil. AS I) MRS. .JAMES PAUL DONOHO Miss Sherry Lynn Bodine be came the bride of James Paul Donoho on Saturday, July 24 at 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon at I/)gan Street Baptist church. The wedding ceremony was performed performed before an altar decorated decorated with blue mums and an arch candelabra of 15 candles. Mike Knappier. minister and brother-in-law of the bride, officiated. officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Bodine and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth. Donoho. Donoho. all of Mt. Vernon. The bride wore a gown of bridal satin and Chantilly lace, featuring a matching train which attached at the shoulders. Her veil of illusion was attached to a double crown of seed pearls a'nd rhinestones. She wore a pearl necklace given to her by the bridegroom's parents. Her bouquet was a crescent of white poii pons and ivy tied with blue streamers, centered around a white orchid. Cindy Bumpus was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Debbie Debbie Smith and Cheryl Capps. David Donoho. brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Larry Larry McKiness and Jerry Buttrum were groomsmen. Roger Riley and Gene Bumpus served as ushers and candlelighters. Mrs. Faye Reynolds, organist, organist, accompanied Miss Janet Raney as she sang, "Whither Thou Goest," "Oh Promise Me," and "A Time For Us." A reception was held following following the ceremony at the church. The cake, four-tiered, was decorated decorated with white doves. Around the bottom of the cake was a circle of blue and white daisies. daisies. A bouquet of daisies was placed on top of the cake. Betty Bumpus and Elaine Owens | served cake and punch to the 'guests. Others assisting were Velma Vallowe and Evelyn Tra- I cey. The guest register was kept by Diane Knappier. sister of the bride. The gift table was ; kept by Jeanie Wangler. Honored guests were Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Bean, maternal grandparents of the bridegroom and Mrs. John Donoho. pater- jnal grandmother of the bridc- ' l groom. A pre-nuptial shower was given given by the bride's attendants and a rehearsal dinner was given given by the bridegroom's family, held at the church. i The bride is a graduate of , the Mt. Vernon high school and has completed one year at Rend i Lake College. The bridegroom. Sp 4 Donoho. Donoho. is serving his second tour of duty with the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Hood. Tex., where the newly-weds are making making their home.
