Fees of §2.25 per girl can now be paid to Maxine Walker, Beth Newren, Grace Cheevea-, or Gleaner officers and leaders of the various wards, and must be in by Wednesday. * * * Club Birthday Is Celebrated The third anniversary of the Vertiya club was celebrated Friday Friday evening at the home of Mrs. . Jessie Johnson, with Mrs. Maurine I Haglund as assisting hostess. Gifts were exchanged and a large birthday cake was decorated with 16 candles, one for each member member of the club. A history and toast were given by Mrs. Zenda Rowley, and a variety of readings were given by the members. A tasty luncheon followed. Also attending were: Mrs. Mildred Mildred Rohbock, Mrs. Virginia Poulson, Poulson, Mrs. Olive Burningham, Mrs. Lillian Prince, Mrs. Alice Jensen, Mrj. Leah Rowley, Mrs. Myrtle Rowley, Mrs. Velma Maag and Mrs. Lucile Collins. Mrs. Melda Hacking was a guest. Nurse's Aides Class To Begin A new class for Rod Cross volunteer volunteer nurse's aides will begin July 19, at 7:00 in tile basement of the public library. Interviews i'or all applicants will be held on Tuesday July 13, from 12pOO until until 8:00. at the library. Members cf the Volunteer NurSe's Aide committee will be in attendance all day to answer questions pertaining pertaining to the work and; to issue application forms and physical examination examination blanks. ; Women between the ag'es of 18 and 50 in good physical condition are eligible. The classes will be scheduled from 7:00 to 9i:30 Monday Monday through Friday. PEACE OFFICERS' WIVES The Utah County Peace Officers' auxiliary will hold its annual picnic picnic Wednesday at 2 o'clock in Memorial park, Eighth East and Center street. The event will be no-hostess and a pot luck lunch will be served.
