RITCHEY Mrs. Emma Beck returned home Monday accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Shushal Be.nton and son, Jack. O. R. Douthitt returned to Hockville, Sunday evening, to his work. Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Mullens, Mrs. .Johnson .Johnson and daughter, Marjorie Ann, and Mrs. Myrtle Norrls and daughter, Marth Ann of Neosho, visited at the home of Mrs. Clyde Douthitt Saturday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sharp and family of Oklahoma City are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mi B Miss Elizabeth Neil of Newtonia visited at the home of Clyde Douthitt two nights of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Musgrove and Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Porter of near Wentworth visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Freeman Godfrey and family, Sunday. RITCHIOY SCHOOL NOTES The Eighth Grade mot at this school last Thursday, for the purpose purpose of taking their final exams. The girls' quartette of the Ritchey Ritchey high school composed of Henrietta English, Elizabeth Armstrong, Armstrong, Helen and Naomi Douthitt, entered the musical contest held at Springfield, Wednesday of last week. While the girls didn't win a prize, we were proud to know they won fourth place as there were 13 other girls' quar- tettes that entered against them. Don't forget, the operetta which will be given Friday night by the elementary grade pupils of the Ritchey school.
