Riggs • KANAB — Funeral services . for Harriett Broadbent Riggs, 82, of Kanab, who died of causes incident to age Tuesday, Sept. 23, 1975 in a Kanab hospital, will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. the Kanab LDS Stake Center, where friends may call from noon until time of services. Mrs. Riggs was the relative of three Utah County residents. She was born April 4,1893 in Kanab to Fuller Stuard and Laura Little Broadbent. She married John Ensign Riggs on Feb. 5, 1914 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, and he died Nov. 14,1972. Mrs. Riggs had served on the Utah State Welfare Board. Survivors include two sons and two daughters, Burns B. Riggs, Provo; Don B. Riggs, Kanab; Mrs. Jon (Vivian) Ross, Albuquerque, N.M.; Mrs. Robert (Leda) Glasson, Salt Lake City; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one brother and five sisters, Mrs. Viola B. Henderson and Mrs. Ralph (Ora) Nielson, both of Provo; Lorin W. Broadbent, Fredonia, Ariz.; Mrs. Harry (Kathryn) Culver, Las Vegas; Mrs. D.F. (Sarah) Hamblin and Mrs. Wester (Verla) Lewis, both of Kanab. , Burial will be in Kanab City Cemetery.
