Uniform Boy County Spelling Contest Held Here Representatives of Sir County High Schools Enter Contest for Prizes to Be Awarded at County Commencement. Commencement. and the present- dark was Bringing w a cius* vuc uj. v. iv .--- school contests, representatives of six schools met in the Community Building in Statesville Saturday to determine determine the best speller, both for boys and girls of the county high schools. One hundred -words chosen hy v. competent person not connected witn the county school system, were pronounced pronounced b^ Mr. Hall of the Statesville city schools. Each contestant was given a number at the beginning, this number was the only means ot identifying the student At the end of the contest, the papers were given to the judges, who are teachers m city, the same being Misses Bernice -- fit- TDT.,N« an( j pfcarl Hoi- Bringing to a close one of the the B.
