Jervoi tookjaace at Virgiaia Water, Surrey, yesterday afternoon. There waa a short choral sarriee at Bitten parish church before the eofia was taken to Southampton Dock Station, sit rowfe to Vn - rioia Water, where it arrived shortly before 3 o'clock. There was a Urge attendance of relatives and friends ai tha cemetery. Tho coffin was met at tho station by a party of noo - ccmmiaioDd officers of the Boyal Engineers, sutler Major Irvine, and these at oaee souisreU tt to the hearse outside.
