SURPRISE AW.4RD in order to show their appreciation appreciation for the good work done by the champion Sheffield high school basketball team, as well as the, publicity gained through their wonderful playing and record the Sheffield chamber of commerce presented gold basketballs this morning. The presentation was made at the high school assembly by C. H. Barnes, supervising principal, principal, Who is also president of the local civic organization. In a few well chosen remarks the following letter men were given the token which they will always cherish in future life and remember Sheffield wherever they may be: Leo Rossetti, Rossetti, Lawrence Munson, Mickey Kohut, Russell Andrews, Francis Ritchie, Paul Deliman, Robert Baynes, Paul Lunquist. Manager Marlin Gilbert and L. O. Eisenhauer, Eisenhauer, coach, were also remembered remembered for the part they had in making making the successful season.
