Fanners' Bank caught fire, but tho building is so thoroughly tiro proof that but little apprehension for its safety was entertained. Due of the buildings burnt was owned by Tobias Van Schaick and the other bvthc estate ot the. late Conrad Ganse - voort. Both were insured. Four hundred individuals en gazed in the establishment of Messrs. Packer, Prentice & t. o. find themselves out of employment employment this morning. We are gratified, however, to learn that these gentlemen, with the energy that characterises all their business movements, have taken Stanwix Hall, and will have these 400 auxiliaries actively rc - employed on Mon - rta V nevt.
