1 ,. .« Wilson Mcisenheimer Wilson Meisenheimer, 78. former wholesale grocer, died at 8:45 last night at his home, 621 East A. He had been in ill health 11 years. Mr. Meisenheimer was born in Litchfield, 111., and moved to Hutchinson 40 years ago from Scott City, where he had been engaged in the mercantile business many years. He was married in 1887 to Martha Jane Statts and two children were born to this union, one dying in infancy. In August, 1898, he and A. J. Deatz organized the Central Mercantile Co., one of the earliest wholesale grocery establishments in Hutchinson. Mr. Meisenheimer was president of the company. When the Central Mercantile company was consolidated with the Jelt and Wood Wholesale, Mr. Meisenheimer was named treasurer of the new firm and served in that capacity until ill health forced him to retire. He was an active member of the First Presbyterian church. Only survivor is a daughter, Mrs. Cloyd H. Bailey, 801 East A, and two grandsons, Donald M. and Joe Wilson Bailey. The body will lie in slate at the Elliott and Gard Funeral chapel from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday. The casket will not be opened at the funeral services;
