Workshop for Presbyterian Senior High Group Planned ' The Presbyterian "United Senior High Fellowship, including all Senior High groups of the Presbyterian churches in Corpus Christ!, . will hold workshop at the Parkway Presbyterian. 1 Church . (now meeting in Fisher School Cafetor- ium) from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Sunday. The workshop will be conducted by officers of Senior High Fellowships of the Western Texas Presbytery and -the Corous Christ! Dis- Â·Irict. . ' T . Â· , Registration Period The program will open with registration in charge of Ted Lyons, Mary Shmoldas and Imogenc Stanley. Snack time will follow with Sandra Jobe, Elizabeth Bradford and Van Millsap in charge.. Â·, Dr. Andries Strauss, a local physician, will be the speaker and his subject, will be "Youth, Responsibility and Its Use." An inspiration period before the address will be led by lÂ»Tary Jane Braun, Charles Sale, Mary Ann Waters, Imogene Stanley and Hortencia Garcia. The groups will divide Into separate meetings for instruction on the- fivo commissions. The Rev. R. Earl trice, minister of the Woodlawn Presbyterian Church, wjll speak to the executive 'group on "The Bible and Your Responsibility in Its Connection With Senior High Fellowship." A business meeting will follow. The group will attend the , p.m. worship service "when the Rev. M. H. Applewhite, minister of Parkway church, will speak "The World Today and Tomorrow." A feature of the program will be music by the choir Presbyterian School for Mexican Girls at Taft, led by-Helen Thorington. Afterglow Service "... . Following the service the group will go to the Liridale Recreation Center , for afterglow. Mrs. 3, Clarke Nabera, director of the recreation center, will conduct the recreational program, assisted by Barbara Potter, Valerie Turner and Peggy Winkler. The Women Parkway Church will serve refreshments. Â· Â· Officers of the Presbytery are Dick Junkin, president; Lou Ann Hintz, vice president, and Mary Lyle Dew, secretary. Charlotte Goodpasture is president ot i'ne Corpus Christi district, and Kay Hollinger is secretary-treasurer. Gayle Rider Is chairman oÂ£ the planning committee.
