îü Week Red Cross Water Safely Course Comes To Successivi End 2 Friday morning marked the end of the two week water safe- course in which the local Chapter of the American Red Cross offered to the youth of this county free lessons in swimming swimming and lifesaving. Local boys and girls entered enthusiastically inio t lie pro- gram and filled the pool each tnorning with their classes, which were under the instruction instruction of Gilbert Conoley. Red Cross water safety chairman and a holder of the Red Cross examiner’s examiner’s badge, highest award of that organization. { Mr. Conoley expressed his pleasure afr fche enthusiasm and I appreciation with which the j ; Red Cross service was accepted j by both parents -and children cf the community, and he stated that he hoped next summer to begin the Red Cross course soon after school lets out.
