Cuppett, manager of the New Paris branch of the Bedford County Trust Company for the past five years and for years the efficient and reliable correspondent for the Gazette and Johnstown Democrat in his section, died suddenly at his home near New Paris about noon, January 13. Mr. Cuppett had been his usual good health until the evening before- 'his death when he complained complained of being ill and decided' he would (not go to the bank the following day, and when seated in a by the stove suddenly collapsed. Relatives who rusihed to him found him apparently dead. Dr. Shoenthal, hurrying to the Cuppett home in response to a call, pronounced life extinct and gave it as his judgment that death had been caused by neuralgia of the heart.
