of on on Sister Eveler to be honored Sister Geraldine Eveler will celebrate her 25th anniversary anniversary of religious profession at 1:30 p.m. April 29 at Immaculate Conception Church, Church, Jefferson City. A reception for friends and relatives at Kennedy Hall will follow the mass. Sister Geraldine was born in Jefferson City, the daughter of Mrs. Otto Forck and the late John Eveler. She attended Mt. Hope School, Immaculate C o n c e p t i o n Grade and two-year High School, after which she entered the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Tex. She was professed in 1948. Sister Geraldine has taught elementary grades at Old Mines, St. Louis, Kirksville, Taos, and in schools also in Texas and Illinois. She has taught English in Mexico City. At present Sister Geraldine is teaching at St. Francis Xavier School, Taos. She also teaches a high school and adult religious education class in the parish. She has served as vice president and president of the Jefferson City Diocesan Sisters' Association and is active in Diocesan committees. committees. Mrs. Frank Railton presented the program on Abigail Adams. Hostesses for the meeting were Mrs. Russell Keyes Mrs. R. T. Finks, Mrs. Sam Haley and Mrs. D. F. Witte
