'S BIG BUZE CONNEAUT FIRE. Midnight Blaze Caused Damage Amounting to $12,000 or $13,000,— Fire Started, Supposedly, From Electric Light Wires. The worst fire in the city since the big harbor conflagration occurred occurred last night when a midnight alarm called tlic city firemen to the big business business block at the corner of Main and Washington streets, oiwncd by W. ' Dr. Kelley's dental parlors which occupy the corner on the second floor were completely gutted. The jewelry store of H. B. Kurtz on the first floor and the rug department of C. W. DeVoc & Son in the basement basement were severely damaged by water water and smoke. The K. of P. hall on the third floor was also slightly damaged. The other offices on the second floor were filled with smoke but no damage resulted. The estimated losses: W. F. Stanley—Between $3,ooo and $5,000. nsurance—Covered. H. B. Kurtz—$4,000.
