Gasoline Burns ! Desert Fireman I j Fire Station Damaged At Twentynine Palms ! For Ray Bolster, Twentynine Palms fireman, the roaring flames of t he Mt. San Gorgonio fire were a picnic compared to those he ran into right in the Twentynine Palms ifire station. Bolster suffered first and second , degree burns about the face and I hands, and the kitchen of the fire station was extensively damaged when a gallon jug of gasoline Bolster was carrying broke against a sink and the contents burst into flames. The Gasoline was ignited by al hot water heater in the kitchen.
