OBITUARY. .'...,..' Joshua It. Winn. One of Duryea's most respected residents passed away last evening In the death of Joshua R. Winn, who died at 7 o'clock after a lingering illness. illness. He was aged 65 years. The place of his death was the home of his son. Tax Collector Thomas Winn. Mr. Winn had . been identified with Duryea for over 40 years. He was born in Durham. England, and in 1862 came to, America, settling In Duryea.' He married there and in 1866 returned to England, where he remained until 1879. when he again embarked for America and took up his home for the second time in Duryea. Duryea. He resided there from 1879 until his death. Mr. Winn took an active interest in Duryea's growth and was a useful citizen. He Is survived by three sons and three daughters Thomas. William, who is a borough school director, George, Mrs. Henry Hushelpeck, all of Duryea; Mrs. Michael Corcoran, of Hughestown, and Mrs. Thomas Williams, of West Plttston. The funeral Is to be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock". Interment in Marcy cemetery.
