DAVID E. PARKER David Etnier Parker, well known resident of Alexandria, died at his home Saturday morning morning at 8 o'clock after an illness of several days. He was 80. Mr. Parker was a resident of Altoona from 1876 until 1924. He had been retired since 1923 after ; engaging in the building and con-' con-' con-' tracting business. Members of the family include his wife, Mrs. Alice Parker and two daughters, Mrs. Clara Jones and Miss Dora Parker, at home. Two grandchildren, Mrs. Norris Shane of Beltsville, Md., and Robert Robert Jones of Altoona also survive together with six great-grandchildren. great-grandchildren. great-grandchildren. great-grandchildren. Mr. Parker served for a number of years as president of the First National bank at Juniata. He was a member of the Presbyterian Presbyterian church of Alexandria, of the Bellview lodge No. 497, I. O. O. F. and of the Altoona Encampment Encampment No. 129. Funeral service will be held from the late home this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev. H. T. Smith will officiate.
