10 The Pocono Record,; The Stroudsburgs, Pa. -- Wed., July 3, 1968 Arthur Rice, ex-resident, dies in Crum Lynn home CRUM LYNN, Pa. - Arthur F. Rice, 306 Morris Ave., Crum Lynn, Pa., died recently at home. He was born in Scranton the son of the late Frederick and Nettie Rice and moved to East Stroudsburg where he attended school before moving to Chester in 1926. He was a member of the St. Rose of Lima Church, the National Rifle Association, and t h e M a r i t i m e E n g i n e e r s Beneficial Association. Mr. Rice also attended the Maritime School in Sheeps Head Bay, N. Y., and entered the Maritime service in 1943. A f t e r his stay in East Stroudsburg, Mr. Rice attended the Williamson Trade School 'in Chester for steam power instruction instruction and worked with the Philadelphia Electric Co. for 13 years. Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Alfreda Struble, Prospect Park, and Mrs. Rose Marie Hinkte of Ridley Park. Also a son, Frederick; of Chades Ford, Pa. A sister, Mrs. Mary Eyer, Mount Bethel, and two step- sisters, Mrs. Harry Dodler, Ridgewood, N. J., and Mrs. G r o v e r K r e s g e , E a s t Stroudsburg. Friends and relatives are invited invited to attend funeral services Friday at 8 a.m. from the Kaniefski Funeral Hjjpne. Following services there will be a Requiem. Mass at St. Rose of Lima Church at 9 a.m. B u r i a l w i l l be in East Stroudsburg.' Viewing svill be held from 8 to .8:30 a.m.-Fryay at the funeral home.
