Pearson as county ney. The petition was signed by Ihairman Leo Scalise and Commissioners Commissioners Florence P. Kasky Robert Daly. Pending in district court is a petition filed by Pearson seeking removal from office of the three lommissioners. The commissioners in seeking the removal of Pearson listed a number of causes for action. They accused the county attorney attorney in general of failing to perform perform the duties of his office. A hearing on the commissioners' commissioners' petition was set for Nov. Scalise was scheduled to appear appear in court Trursday to plead to a charge filed against him Pearson. This accuses Scalise of obtaining money under false pretenses, a felony. Scalise's attorney, however, filed an obiection to the complaint complaint and Judge W. R. Taylor was to hear it Friday afternoon Pearson has accused Scalise "wrongfully and with intent to defraud Deer Lodge county" of receiving $189 in the name William Smith' on Sept. 7 as payment of a claim for work on county road. Pearson originally c h a Scalise with presentation of a fradulent claim to the county. The county attorney filed the amended information after Judge Taylor ruled that portions of evidence submitted with the original charge were unacceptable. In another action Thursday, commissioners filed an affidavit seeking disqualification oi Judge Dean King, Kalispell. King ac cepted jurisdiction in the action brought by Pearson the commissioners after Judge Taylor had been disqualified, by action of the commissioners.
