The meeting of the Excelsior Liter»r\ society was called to order by the presi dent, Miss Bessie Longenecker, yester day afternoon at 3 o'clock and the pro am that was rendered follows: SiiK-ing: reading of the minntes bj the secretary, Miss Bertha Miller, which were approved as read. Under the neat of miscellaneous business the election of officers was held and resulted as fol lows: President, Kay Brandt: vice president, Samuel Simmons: secretary Edith Deininger: librarian, Sara] Schott: assistant librarian, Edith Spunkier: pianist, Catherine Smith treasurer, George Meigs.
