She gave a brief president of the Rosary society of'talk on summer activities and in- St. John's Catholic church, was in charge of the first autumn meeting of the organization Monday evening. Members who assembled at St. John's school beard Mrs. Weber announce October 13 as the date of" the National Council of Catholic Women deanery tea and meeting which will be at the school with the society as hostess. Chairman of-the decoration committee for the event will be Mrs. Dan Haltingly. Mrs. Raymond Biltz, who was reappointed NCCW parish chairman, will act as gen- Moose Members Stag Party it Moose Lodge Thurs. Sept. 12. Free Dinner. Elizabeteh Langley, and how and when it 'will be awarded. November' 3 is -the date for the annual fall bazaar and preparations were discussed it. A turkey dinner will be-served and Mrs. Wilbur Phifer and Mrs. Robert Biltz were named chairman and co-chairman for this event. The group voted to sponsor serving two wedding dinners and a Rotary club dinner. Mrs. .Louis Weber and her group will have charge of .the kitchen foV the Rotary dinner, and Mrs. Dallas Ressler and Mrs. James Smith and their groups will sponsor the project. Mrs. Pat Tragesser gave a brief talk on retreats and extended an invitation for a retreat October 25 to 27 at the Fatima Retreat house in Indianapolis. It w a s announced that the Knights of Columbus will entertain visiting members at a dinner Sunday, September 29, and members discussed serving it. Mesdames Raymond O'Malley, Dallas Ress ler, Frank Moore, Clarence Ripberger, Pat Tragesser and Miss Josephine Brogan were named to a committee to assist in serving at the dedication of the new mother house at St. Joseph's .academy on September 29.
