Here are just some of the things you have been doing doing since your high school graduation: Eva Belle Beckendorf Longenbaugh Longenbaugh was married following following graduation on August 2, 1934 to George E. Longenbaugh, Longenbaugh, and thus became a rice farmer's wife. They farmed rice north of Katy, then at Brookshire where they built a new home and adopted 2 sons, Geo. H. and Edwin H. Longenbaugh who are both graduates of Katy High. They are now the proud grandparents of a granddaughter, Virginia Gail, the child of their son George and wife, who live in Cypress. In 1954 the Geo. Longen- baughs built a new brick home in Katy, after selling their home in Brookshire. Eva lists her pleasures as her family and friends. She is a member of the Katy Methodist Methodist Church, a past treasurer of the WSCS, and a past worker in the Junior. Dept, of the Sunday School. Leon Sturm is a field au- construction firms. Leon married Marie Habacek Habacek on June 22, 1941, and the couple own their home in Brookshire. They have four children, Lynn who is 16, Rue Ann 7, Glenda 3 and the baby Leon Jr. who is 8 months old. His hobbies? Mrs. Sturm says that she knows for sure that he enjoys enjoys deer hunting and fish- ing, whenever there is time. At present he is working on a job in Kingsville and makes it home on weekends.. W. C. Katy Jr. Deputies Start League Play Monday, June 1 The Tri-County Babe Ruth League will open the league baseball season Monday night, June 1 with the Katy Jr. Deputy team playing Rosenberg Rosenberg at Rosenberg. On Thursday, June 4th, Katy will have a home game, play ing Richmond at the Katy High School field, 8:00 p.m. The Tri-County league teams will play each Monday and Thursday evening. There will be a practice game with Sugarland Sugarland here in Katy this Friday, May 29 at 8:00 p.m. There are 8 divisions in the Babe Ruth League, Dist. 6, including Bryan, El Campo, Wharton, Rockdale and the Tri-County League. The Tri- County League with headquarters headquarters at Weimar has 3 divisions, divisions, a total of 17 teams. Katy is in the East Div. and
