She lived in 1 this community unU about 10 years ago, and Is the" mother of Mrs. Harold Caylor of Bluff ton, with whom she had lived for the past ten years. Mrs. Alts Maggart, a slater-In-law of the deceased, and Mrs. William Seatson left this morning for Bluff ton to assist in making plans for the final rites. l ' The deceased was born on May 1. 1867 in Delaware county, the daugh ter of James and Amanda (Van Bar-ingdon) Rector, She. lived there but a short time before moving to the community near Alexandria, where she lived for most of her life. - -She was united In marriage to John Lewis Cary,rwho passed away on May, 29, 1917. , Besides the daughter with whom she made her home, surviving are 'two brothers, Grant. Rec tor of , Muncie, -and Will Rector, of Gaston;: and one sister, Mrs. Minnie Morgan, , of Bummltville. Another daughter, Murtice Cary, died several years ago. - The body was prepared for burial at the Jahn funeral home in Bluff ton and funeral services will be conduct-edfrom the home of Mrs, Caylor, Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock with Rev, Garrison, pastor of the Method' 1st church there, officiating. The fu neral cortege will arrive at Odd Fellows cemetery; here when interment will take place In the family lot about 8:30, ..The oasket will be opened at the graveside for all friends and relatives living in Alexandria, who are' unable to' attend the funeral services. Mrs. Cary was a member of the First Methodist church here.
