Audience of 300 Attends Operetta at Parker School An audience of about 300 people greeted the presentation of the musical musical operetta “In a Floritt’s Window," given by children of Parker School at the High School auditorium Thursday Thursday evening. About 100 children took part in the play under the direction of Miss Rosa Cole, assisted by Miss Helen Smith, Miss Bernice Brumbelow, Brumbelow, Miss Opal Lewis, Mrs. Roy McClendon McClendon and Miss Lida Dawson. Miss Ruth Carney played accompaniments. The first act, an old maids’ drill, featured Bruce Wall as a bachelor, and Oscar Key, Wilton Fenoglio, Harvin Harvin Harrison, J. H. Goodman, Henry Nabers, Stanley Shores, David Polk, and Roy Brazil, as old maids. Characters Characters of the second act, a circus in the barn, were Wayne Thomas, ring master; Mary Eva Bowden, tight rope walker; G. D. Tupils of the fourth and sixth grade of the school sang several songs between the acts.
