Elsather, a resident, commemorate his birthday, Dec. 13, when he reached the age of 101 years. A short program .was planned by Mrs. M'. O. Ensbe.rg Mrs. -E. W. Iverson. Christmas carols were.sung. Mrs.-Ensberg read an' eulogy, which told his birth in Skogn, Norway, 1859, his interesting life, his occupation, his church affiliation and his travels. His custom riding the aging! best exercise for ' ' Some Norwegian songs sung for him' by Mrs. and Mrs. Iverson. The program concluded w i t h Christmas carols and a birthday song. , Fo"r the coffee hour, the birthday cake had been 'designed -to hold 101 candles. Ensberg, assisted .by Supt" cake and Mrs. Iverson G ° serving the coffee.
