Mrs. Susan Nearhoof Shaffer, of 198 West Main st., died at 5:40 a.m. Sunday morning at her home after an extended illness. Mrs. [Shaffer], who was 92, was born January 28, 1866 in Antis Township, the daughter of Michael and Elizabeth Wheeling Nearhoof. Her husband, Abram Shaffer, died Nov. 2, 1939. She is the last of her immediate family. Surviving are five children: Earl, Mrs. Eva Brophy and Clarence of Bellwood, Albert, of Tyrone and George of Leesburg, Mo. Also surviving are seven grandchildr
