He married Mary L. Hoover April 5, 1908, in Coleman. Coleman. She preceded him in death in 1965. He was a Baptist. Survivors include one daughter, daughter, Mrs. Lewis Slate of Midland; Midland; one son, Bill Meador of Star Rt. 2, Brownwood; one sister, sister, Mrs. M. E.
