A VIOLET TEA. One of the prettiest social affairs of the season was the violet tea given by Miss Lina Parker at her home on North Branciforte Av., Saturday afternoon, in honor of Miss M. Orith Hughes. The rooms were prettily decorated in violets and snvllax. The following musical selections were rendered: Vocal solo by Miss Sue Grover, and instrumental solos by Miss Hughes and the hostess, after whioh chocolate and cake were daintily served at tete-a-tete tete-a-tete tete-a-tete tete-a-tete tete-a-tete tables. Miss Pa river was assisted in serving by the Misses Lucille MoCornick, Lila Mattison, Ethel Fielding and Helen Snyder. Those present were: The Misses Sue Grover, Hazel Cope, Alice Bart-lett, Bart-lett, Bart-lett, Gladys Kron, Hettie Irish, Vance MeCornick, Lucille McCornick, Eethel Fielding, Anna Fielding, Orith Hughes, Lila Mattison, Eva Waugh, Helen Snyder, Mrs. Rennie and Mrs. Parker.
