I believe this article is referring to "Irene" Burke's birthday and not Romaine Burke, whose birth year was about 1906, and would have been about 22 or 23 when this party took place. In fact, the guest Romaine Burke from Newark NJ is the older sister of Irene Burke. Romaine Burke married Michael Rock in Newark NJ at St. John's R.C. Church in 1930.
