Obituary Mrs: Taylor Dies Illness Wife of Dr.1 C. E. Taylor Sue - cumbs in Family Residence - . Mrs. Catherine Taylor, 71, wife of Dr. C. E. Taylor, died last evening in the family residence, 1408 Lafayette street, following a brief illness. . News of Mrs. 'Taylor's death will be received with sorrow by her innumerable innumerable friends in this section of the state. Shewas prominent in the social, religious and civic affairs of the city for many years. , Mrs. Taylor was born - in - Archbald, the daughter cf Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Mulholland, pioneer residents, of that borough. In 1881, the year of her marriage to Dr. Taylor, she came to this city and had been . - a resident In West Scranton ever since. ' The deceased was a communicant of St. Patrick's church and prominent in many of the societies of the parish. Surviving are her husband: a son. C. H. Taylor, Carbondale; - three daughters, 'Mrs. J. P. Dennebaum, Dalton; Mr3. Thomas Farrell Moran, Chinchilla, and Margaret, at home; iour orotners, Henry w. Mulholland, Carbondale; .John Mulholland, - Scott township; E. J. Mulholland, Kingsport, Tenn., and Thomas Mulholland, Carbondale, Carbondale, president of the - Mulholland Ice Cream company, and three sisters, sisters, Mrs. R. H. Kirwln, Carbondale; Ella, Nora, Susan and Rose Anne Mulholland, Mulholland, all of Carbondale. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday morning at 9:30 o'clock with a solemn high requiem mass in St. Patrick's church.
