Obituary of Harry Clawson Harry Clawson, a life-long resident resident of Indiana County, passed away at 7:30- P. M. Sunday, June 4th, at the home of his son, E. D. Clawson, of Commodore, after an illness of over seven months following a stroke of apoplexy, at the age of 68 years, 6 months and 17 days. The deceased was a son of Josiah and Phebe (Black) Clawson and was one of a family of five children On July 4th, 1893, he was united in marriage to Elizabeth Wise of Montgomery township. She preceded preceded him in death on Dec. 22, 1896. To this union* two children were born, Rev. Clair C. Clawson of Limestone, Clarion County, and Everett D. Clawson, of Commodore. In later years he was again united in marriage to Nellie BartlebauErt of Commodore, .who also survives with one daughter. Audry Clawson, of Rahway, New Jersey. He is also survived by three grandchildren; one brother, S. R. Clawson, of Starford, Starford, and one sister, Mrs. J. E. Mumau, of Commodore. The deceased departed thia life with a full assurance of faith in tho Lord Jesus Christ as his own personal personal Saviour and for months previous previous to his passing trusted him fully, Funeral services ware conducted conducted on Wednesday, June. 7th, at 2 P, M. in the Presbyterian Church at T/y-lorsville by Rev. J. P. Tampt, pastoV of the Cookport Baptist Church, assisted by Rev. James King of Worthington, and Evangelist Roy Muir of New York. Interment was made in the Church Cemetery at Taylorsville. Among the most of friends who payed tribute and ex- nressed sympathy for the bereaved family and who were in attendance at the funeral were a large delegation delegation from the Limestone and Corsica Baptist Churches, where Rev. C. C. Clawson is pastor.
