eralBenjamin Mr. fence to be sooner. are sorry to learn that diphtheria prevailing to an alarming extent in neighborhood of Taylorsville. Mr. Adam Stonebreaker buried four of 'his children last week, and Ihe lives of the remaining two are despaired of. Jacob B. Lydick has buried one of his children. The family of Smith Long is afflicted with the same dread disease. Samuel Clawson, son of Josiah Clawson, had a severe attack but, we are glad to learn, is convalescent. We sympathise with our old neighbors and hope the disease ·will not spread further. A
