C. C. COLBURN C. C. Colburn was born December 2, 1847, in the state of Alabama; died September 17, 1934, at the famil> i esidence north of town. Funeral services were held at the residence Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. E. E. Thomson, Methodist minister. minister. Burial was in the City Cemetery, Cemetery, Bodkin and Little, Undertak ers, in charge. Mr. Colburn came to Texas some 51 years ago, settling in Williamson county and later moved to San Saba county where he has since resided He was married while living in Alabama, Alabama, to Miss Malinda E. Whit bama, on Feb. 18, 1869, who preceded him in death some 16 years ago. To this union was born one son, Wat son I. Colburn, who died in 1924. Surviving Surviving is a brother, Emmett Colburn. 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. great-grandchildren. Mr. Colburn united with the Methodist Methodist church at the age of 19 and has lived a very active and consistent Christian life up to his death. Pall bearers were M. C. Gunter Roy Crockett, Clell Roberts, Roy Graves, J. M. Parker, Lon Robbins, A. I. Sutton, W. M. Perry Out of town relatives attending the funeral included Calvin Colburr. and family, Wade Colburn, Fry Miller Miller and family of Winters, grandchildren, grandchildren, E H. Colburn and family of Winters, W. E. Colburn and familv Byron Colburn and family of Cameron, Cameron, nephews.
