JOSEPH IUK DIED SUliY AFTER A LONG ILLNESS Joseph Balchune, an elderly resident resident of 43 Cliff street. Upper Pitts - ton, passed away - the home yesterday yesterday afternoon at two o'clock 'oTowing an illness of several months. Mr. Balchune was born In Lithuania and came to this o sir - try at an early age. He had resided in this community for many years - nd was widely known and respected. Until recently, he had been employed employed about the mines. He was a devoted mc "r of St. Caslmir's Lithuanian Church and as affiliated affiliated With numerrjs church societies. He is survived by the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Mary Calunas, Charles, Anthony and William, of Plttston, and Mrs. Andrew Banyo, of Duryer. The funeral will be held Wrines - day morning at 9 o'clock. A mass of requiem will be sung at 9:30 in St. Caslmir's Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
