Mrs. Mary Patterson Milton Junction — Mrs. Mary Patterson, 81, a resident of Rock and Jefferson counties all her life, died at 7 p. m. Thursday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Solberg, Madison, where she had been under care for the past month. She suffered'a stroke Jan. 10 and was confined to Mercy hospital, Janesville, for some time. The former Mary Wolf was born in Helenville Sept. 16, 1867, the daughter of Fred and Elizabeth Tessin Wolf. She grew to womanhood there and became a dressmaker. On Dec. 8, 1897, she was married to William J. Patterson and they made their home for a number of years In Turtle township, Rock county, where he was a buTtermaker. About 1P10 they moved to a farm near Otter Creek where they since resided. Mr. Patterson died in 1936. Surviving are two sons, Carl and William, both of Milton Junction; two daughters, Mrs. Henry Solberg, Madison, and Mrs. Clarence Carroll, route 1, Milton Junction; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. One son, G<\^.3 preceded her in death. The funeral will be held at 2 p. m. Sunday in the Gray and Albrecht iuneral homeland burial will be in Milton cemetery. Friends may call at'the funeral home Saturday evening.
