of Music good, univer stage, the Obit\iary.--Mr. Launcelot Jacques died of paralysis on Tuesday night at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Joseph R. Haines, at Green Spring Furnace. He a staunch "Unionist during the late war an earnest Republican ever since the formation of the party. During a long, life he filled only two public positions-that positions-that of county commissioner and justice the peace, the latter of which he held many years. Mr. Jacques was quite advanced in and enjoyed the respect and esteem of large circle of friends and acquaintaces. He leaves a wife, two sons and five daughters.
