Kent State Triumphs, 27-13, Over Western Michigan KENT, Ohio, Nov. 17 m Dick Mihalus scored the winning touchdowns in the second quarter today as Kent State University defeated Vestern Michigan, 27-13, and claimed third place in the Mid-American Conference football standings. It was the final game of the season for both teams. Kent finished with a 4-2 conference record, 7-2 over-all. Western Michigan got the first touchdown in the second quarter as Bob Mason sneaked over from the two-yard line.
