SEEK TO RELEASE W. S. LINN ON HABEAS CORPUS Jamioe Clift D to ig Htm Before the Sup rlor Court Take Action. Attorney W. J. Oglesby this afternoon secured an order for a writ of habeas corpus compelling W. S. Linn to be pro- pro- duced in court. Last rau unn was sueu, and judgment was given against him. But failing to satisfy the judgment he was cited by Justice Clift on an order of examination. He appaxed, but tho examination examination was continued. A second time he was ordered to appear in court, but he failed to obey the order. He was pre paring to leave for Los Angele a.t the time, and had his goods shipped as well as his ticket bought. However, his move ment was anticipated, and he was arrest- arrest- or hut later released on $100 bail. Linn then left for Los Angeles. The author! tics sent down and brought him back, and JusUce clift cited him for contempt.
