Principal Arnold Carlson, who has a B: S. degree from Michigan State college, has been with the Scottville schools seven years and has done graduate work in science at Michigan State and University of Michigan. He will teach .physics, chemistry and general science. The'history ah* social science department will be taught by Miss, Helen Wilson, who has an A B. from Michlgan-.State college. : For four years Miss Wilson has -been principal of Kaleva high schooU where she has taught, history and social science. Miss Wilson has been enrolled in the graduate school of Michigan State for three summers and has taken-'Work leading to an M. A. with,a major in history and minor in economics. For the first time in the history of th& school, Scottville will have'a full-time music instructor. Clark Brody Jr. will have charge of the high school band, orchestra, glee dubs and junior band. He also will handle two academic subjects. Mr. Brody is a graduate of the music department of Michigan State college and has played four 'years In Michigan State college ,band and orchestra. During the summer Mr. Brody has been at National Music camp at Interlochen. He is an accomplished clarinetist. To Teach Latin Miss Agnes Carlson A. B. will have charge of Latin in the high school and will handle part of the English courses. Prior to coming to Scottville she held similar positions at Benzonia and'Onekama. She received her degree at Michigan Sljate Teachers' college at Ypsilaatl. Miss Doris Wright 1 , will have charge of high school English and biology. She received her A. B. in June from Albion college where she majored In English and minored in biology. Donald Gager, who has a me certificate from Central State Teachers' college, will have charge of the eighth grade subjects and will handle athletics In the grades. He is returning for his six-th year in the capaiclty of coach, j Harry Huffman will I have charge of the commercial subjects. ,er
