Lewis Crozer Auditorium of the Young Men's Christian Association last evening, to enjoy the imitative recital by Miss Gay Zenola, MacLaren, -who presented presented "The Auctioneer," a drama in three acts by David Belaseo. Miss MacLaren MacLaren imitated David "Warfield as Simon Levi and the members of the Xew York Company in their various roles. She received ( encores foliownas each impersonation. 1 Miss MacLaren, impersonated various various characters, including Simon Levi, tho auctioneer from Hester street: Esther Levi. his wile; Hilga, their aoptod daughter; Isaac Leavitst Simon's brother: Rosa Leavitt, his second wife: Minnie, their daughter: Mrs. Eagan, an old friend of the Levls; Dick Ea#an her son; Slyer Cohen, a neighbor; Captain Callahan, of the third precinct: Mr. Fininski. Simon's clerk; Dawkvns, - a waiter; Tony, a chestnut vender. • The "charming character imper- soraitor proved that she is one of the most gifted young artists and possesses possesses unique genius combined with womanly womanly beauty. It is a delight for patrons to see her in her various roles and the residents ol this city who enjoy such performances are always looking forwarcT to her visits.
