Junior Loop Stars Chosen Fifteen boys out of a list of 17 prospective players from Klamath Falls Junior American Legion diamonds will go to the junior legion district No. 4 base ball playolls in an auempi 10 earn a chance to attend the ' semi-finals and possibly state finals, according to Lynn Roy-croft, athletic chairman of the local American Legion post The team selected to represent Klamath in the playoffs will pit its skill against the winner of the Oakland, Ore., vs. Roseburg ' series to determine the district championship. The state playoff system provides that the winner of each district play each other district winner in semi-finals until only . two teams are left to contest the state championship title. The district 4 champion would go to bat, under the schedule, against district 3 champs, probably Eugene, and the winner would play in the finals in Portland August 2, 3 and 4. The seventeen boys selected from Klamath are, from Mills: ' Dale Perry, Bob Spradling, Gary Dawes, Fred Fuller, and Jim Coley; from Conger: Leroy Col man, Don Cessnun, Ray Craig, Homer Ossiander, Bob Guyer, and Don Johnson were picked. Tommy Edwards, Pat Williams, Wilbur Elliot, Ed Whitney ,Merl Metz, and Melvin Denny were chosen from the Del Moro team. This group is practicing this week on Del Moro field.
