Raymond Hatfield, 66, Retired Farmer, Dies Raymond George. Hatfield. 66. of 2241 North Edward street, died just before midnight last night in the Decatur and Macon County hospital. Mr. Hatfield had returned last week from spending the winter, in California, where he suffered a heart attack the latter part of April. Born in Georgetown, Ohio, on Sept. 20. 1875, a ton of Rev. Zach-ariah Taylor Hatfield and Mary Hatfield, he had lived in Decatur since 1889, coming here from Downs, 111. He married Catherine Ann Lyons in Decatur on Oct. 27, 1897. A farmer during most of his life, he was a member of the- First United Brethren church. Mr. Hatfiefl leaves his wife: a son, Paul Lyons Hatfield of Forrest, 111.; two daughters, Mrs. Kath-erine Eaton and "Mrs. Viola Hinton of Decatur; a brother. Rolland W. Hatfield of -Hngton, D. C; -a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Raymer of Santa Ana, Calif., and four grandchildren, Mary Lou, Patricia Ann, and Mar-jorie Emma Hatfield,' all of Forrest, and Phylis Ann Eaton of Decatur. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m, Wednesday in the First United Brethren church. Friends may call at the Dawson i Wikoff funeral home. .
