Driver Cremated In Truck Wreck Near Waelder W. E. McOnUKh, M-yoar-oM San Antonlan and driver of Brandt Iron Works of San Antonio, was cremated almost beyond recognition when the large truck hi- was driving struck a concrete bridge near Wncldor an<l burned Monday afternoon. Apparently Ihe truck, whose trailer was loaded with JO Ions of structural steel, went out of control as It went downhill approaching the bridge. The load was being hauled from Houston to San Antonio. Oonzales County Sheriff L. O. Me- Olnty said fire consumed the truck and part of the trailer. He was able to identify the truck only from its license plates, after which he notified the owners. Funeral services for McGaugh were held at Center Point, Texas. He Is survived by his wife and five children.
