As- archbishop Curley, as pastor was Fisher, County ARTHUR E. ANTHONY Arthur Ellwood Anthony, a farmer farmer of this community, died at home near Denton Saturday at the age of 43. He was the son of Mrs. Rella Anthony and the late Arthur Anthony, Anthony, of Denton. He is also survived survived by his wife, the former Florence Florence Harris; six sons, John, of Burrsville; Harvey, in the Navy; Harry, Lawrence, Donald and Earle, and three daughters, Loretta, Dorothy and Jane. He also leaves two brothers, Anthony, of Wilmington, and Edward Edward Anthony, of Burrsville, and sisters, Mrs. Edith Henry, of Denton, and Miss Margaret Anthony, of Greensboro, and one grandchild. Services were conducted at Piney Church Monday at 2 p. m., with interment in the churchyard.
