HARRELL HOPKINS Des Moines Harrell L. Hopkins, 77, of 3714 E. 38th Court died of a heart ailment Tuesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Private graveside services will be held at Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Hopkins was born in Bolivar, Mo., and moved to Des Moines in 1945. He served in the Army Air Forces during World War II and was a retired sheet metal worker and a member of the Sheet Metal Union. Surviving are his wife, Jeanne; two sons, Jim and Mark, both of Des Moines; a daughter, Nancy Oswald of Tomah, Wis.; two stepsons, David Brotherson of Ames and Dan Broth-erson Broth-erson Broth-erson of Altoona; two stepdaughters, Diane Dawson of New Virginia and Danelle Taylor of Osceola; and 12 grandchildren. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Merle Hay Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa.
