Jacob Bowser After suffering for over eight I years from a complication of j eases, Jacob Bowser passed away the home of his son Frank on Richard Street on Friday, April 2, the age of 59 years, five months 15 days. He was born in Friend's Cove October 17, 1849, and was a son Jonathan and Elizabeth Bowser. August 29, 1872, he was married Miss Amanda Milburn of this who preceded him in death, passing I aw ay on April 23, 1907. Deceased I was a member of Bedford Lodge 1 3 2 0 , F. and A. M., and Lodge I Knights of Pythias. He served for a number of years on the Borough I Council and also completed the un- expired term of the late Abram Egolf as County Commissioner. He was a member of the M. E. this place. The following children survive him: Frank, Mrs. Nicholas Mantler and Robert, of Bedford; Harry of Johnstown, Clark and Ross, of Pittsburg, Pittsburg, and Jacob, Jr., ot Cumberland. Also several brothers and sisters survive. Aaron and Mrs. Emory Dicken, Dicken, of Johnstown; David F. of N. H.; Isaac of Eaton Rapids, Mrs. J. N. Drenning of Bedford Township, and a half-sister, Mrs. ,1. T Trostle, of Greensburg. The funeral took place at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the home of Frank Bowser, the services being conducted by Rev. F. W. Biddie, Rev. Dr. Culler assisting. A large number of the members of Bedford Masonic Lodge were present and the beautiful and impressive service of the Lodge was used at the qrave. Interment in the cemetery t h i s place
