New Type Meatballs SAUCED CRUNCHY MEATBALLS 1 egg, slightly beaten >/4 cup milk '/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs 1 teaspoon salt 1 pound ground beef Vi cup chopped salted peanuts 1 tablespoon oil 1 envelope (1-oz.) onion gravy mix 1 to 2 teaspoons curry powder or chili powder, if desired Toast Combine egg, milk, bread crumbs, and s&H in mixing bowl. Add beef and peanuts; mix lightly. Shape into about 12 meatballs. Brown in oil in large skillet. Add contents of gravy mix envelope, 1% cups water, and curry or chili powder. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes until done. Garnish with additional chopped peanuts. Serve on toast. 4 servings.
