Mr. Allen was born at Fort Herrlmon, near Salt Lake, October 21, 18S4. a son ot Elijah and Eliza Sick- nore Allen. Besides his widow and daughter, Mrs. McMurrin, he Is survived by seven tons nnd daushters: Dr. J. M. Alien. Onden; George Q. Allen, Salt Laks; Mrs. P. E. Tlensor, Los Angeles.
