Bivins, a barber, who died Sunday morning in St. Anthony's Anthony's Hospital after an illness one month. Officiating will be the Rev. James. W. Read, pastor of Southlawn Baptist Church. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery- Mr. Brooks was born in Durant, Okla., and had been an Amarillo resident for the past 24 years. He was a partner the Tascosa Barber Shop. He was a member of Southlawn Baptist Church. Surviving arc his wife, Margie; Margie; three daughters, Carrie, Connie and Christie, all oF home; his parents, Mr. Mrs. Bruce Harrison of and 4324 Polk; a brother, Delbert Brooks of 2049 Dahlia; four sisters. Mrs. Iveen Chambers of 5102 Benton. Mrs. Margaret Covey or 5900 NE 23rd, Mrs. Doris Woods of 3205 Pryor and Vicki Jackson of Georgetown, Ind., and his grandmother, Margaret Mitchell of Durant.
