MRS. CHRISTINE PUDENZ ODEBOLT —Mrs. Christine Pudenz, 88, of Odebolt died at the Carroll Health Center Friday afternoon, Feb. 7. Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Martin's Catholic Church here, with her son, the Rev. Tony Pudenz of Jackson, Miss., officiating. Edward Korneisel was vocal soloist and Dorothy Purdy, organist. Pallbearers were Dale Gronemeyer, Paul Dinges, John Jacobson, Robert Carnine, Robert Tiefenthaler and Richard Mitchell. Burial was at 1:30 p.m. in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carroll. The Farber and Otteman Funeral Home of Odebolt was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Pudenz was born at Highland, Wis., Nov. 26, 1886, a daughter of John and Elizabeth Haselhoff, and was married to Henry Pudenz Jan. 8, 1908, at Odebolt. They lived at Early and Carroll before moving to Odebolt in 1932. Mr. Pudenz died in 1962 and Mrs. Pudenz has resided at the Carroll Health Center since last June. In addition to her son, she is survived by six daughters, Dorothy and Cecelia Pudenz and Mrs. 'Herbert-(Maxine) Bauer of Odebolt, Sr. Mary, FSPA, of LaCrosse, Wis.; Sr. Mary Enrico, FSPA, of Canton, Miss.; and Mrs. John (Margaret) Trainor of Moorhead, Minn.; seven grandchildren and a brother, Bro. John Haselhoff, S.C.J., of Lenox, Mass. Two children, Paul and Alice, a brother and a sister preceded her in death besides her husband.
